2009 SEKDGC Sponsored Show

The Southeast Kansas Dairy Goat Club sponsors American Dairy Goat Association sanctioned shows every summer. In 2007 we sponsored two shows. The June show was held in Coffeyville, Kansas and the second show was held at Yates Center, Kansas Fairgrounds.

In 2008 and 2009 the Club threw all their efforts into the August shows which were held in conjunction with the Interstate Fair in Coffeyville, Kansas. They have drawn people and goats from Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Arkansas. Look for the link on the left that leads you to the 2008 Show results. 2009 results will be up soon.

Thank you to all the people who have worked over the years to make the SEKDGC shows successful. This includes the people who drive long distances to take part in the shows, the judges, and the members of SEKDGC who volunteer their time, talents, and good spirits.

Thank you for your suggestions. The junior doe classes will be divided differently next year to accomodate the number of March/April kids. As usual the Fair Board is not forthcoming with the premium checks. Janet Maxwell is doing her best to light fires in the appropriate places. You will get them... the money not the fires.
